Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information ThemeScope ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, how it's used, and the choices you have. We've written it in plain language on purpose.
Information we collect
ThemeScope is designed to collect as little as possible.
- Store URLs you scan: When you use the detector, the address you enter is sent to our server so we can fetch that store's public page. We do not store these URLs after the scan completes.
- Basic usage data: Like most websites, our hosting and analytics may record standard technical details such as your approximate region, browser type, and the pages you visit, in aggregate.
- Anything you send us: If you email us, we keep that message so we can reply.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site, understand aggregate usage, and — where enabled — serve advertising. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; note that disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the site work.
Advertising and third-party vendors
We use third-party advertising companies, including Google, to serve ads when you visit this site. These companies may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to ThemeScope and other sites on the internet.
- You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
- You can also opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising by visiting aboutads.info.
How we use information
We use the limited information above to operate and improve the tool, keep it secure, respond to messages, and cover our costs through advertising. We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
Scanned URLs are not retained after a scan. Aggregate analytics may be kept for a limited period to understand trends. Emails are kept as long as needed to help you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. Contact us and we'll help.
Children
ThemeScope is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
